Stand With Us To #EndBullying

Canada is among the top five nations in the world for cyberbullying. Telus decided to be a part of the solution with its #EndBullying campaign. Knowing that kids often jump on the free Wi-Fi offered in public places, the team approached more than 80 cafés and restaurants (including Boston Pizza, Lone Star and Il Fornello) in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to create a youth-targeted WiFi network with an important message. Telus and Cossette worked with businesses to change their network name to read “End Bullying” for a month. Tent cards were placed on tables to promote the program, and before people connected to the internet, they were asked to read the brand’s anti-bullying message and make a pledge to “Stand with us to #EndBullying.”
