Research has shown that features are just as important to consumers as price when it comes to auto purchases. Since car-buyers primarily use mobile as a research tool, the BC Honda Dealers created personalized feature-driven creative that encouraged consumers to “Bring Home a Honda” by taking advantage of special deals on new cars. A mobile ad invited prospective buyers to swipe left and right to determine which features (such as big wheels or low fuel costs) are important to them. By answering the questions, the consumer was sorted into one of three different segments. The final frame of the mobile ad showed a car that matched the features they had selected. The team then worked with Google Streetview to present the chosen car in the actual driveway of their home.
