Opticians are skilled at identifying the perfect eye frame for a person’s face. For Quebec chain Opto-Réseau, that had become difficult to demonstrate as fewer people were booking in-store consultations. So it got crafty. If the faces wouldn’t come to them, Opto-Réseau would go to the faces. The “We See You Like No Other” campaign fit faces on already existing OOH advertising with the perfect pair of specs. Thirty posters were selected and then an Opto-Réseau professional placed stickers of glasses on them, explaining in a video why the style was just right for each subject. Footage of the stunt was amplified via the brand’s existing Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube buys. The effort worked: in-store consultations jumped by 27% and Opto-Réseau saw an 8% spike in eye exams, all with zero media dollars spent.
