Luxury car brand Genesis has a unique sales model where its cars are delivered to customers’ homes for test drives. Targeting affluent consumers, Genesis took this concept a step further by bringing its car to them at the airport. A showroom was set up in Terminal 1 at Pearson Airport, allowing travellers to book a test drive. In the parking garage, the terminal’s valet kiosk was given a luxury makeover, and a walkway was turned into an immersive and interactive car display. Finally, prospective buyers were offered a truly unforgettable test drive on the runway, an airport first. Going the extra mile worked for Genesis as test drives increased 1,837% and sales jumped 167%, while 13 cars were sold directly at the airport.
