Only one in four mentions in the news are of women, while major publications refer to men 81% of the time. It’s easy to surmise that it’s a man’s world. But it’s not, of course. That’s why BMO, which has contributed over $3 million to female entrepreneurs, partnered with the National Post on “She’s Newsworthy,” an entire edition of the national newspaper dedicated to female leaders across business, sports, technology and politics. Part of its Celebrating Women program, which has contributed $3 million to female entrepreneurs, the initiative showcased women as the leaders they already are. The digital campaign generated 3.9 million impressions through the National Post sponsorship and achieved a 292% increase in click throughs to the BMO For Women content.
